St Gabriel School Addition – Rooms to Grow!
Last weekend Fr. Bob, our school principal, and members of the finance council shared wonderful news with us! Our school enrollment has grown from 160 students three years ago to 240 students for the 2025-2026 school year and we have a very
generous anonymous donor who is going to donate 1.5 million dollars to build a 4 classroom addition to our school! What an amazing gift!

The total cost of the addition is expected to be about 1.9 million dollars and thanks to that incredibly generous gift we are well on our way! The parish does have savings from recent estate gifts and grants to cover the remaining $400,000, however, we’ve been holding these funds for future parish infrastructure needs such as updating the fire alarm system and eventually replacing the boiler. Please prayerfully consider making a financial gift towards this project. Your financial gift is an opportunity to thank Fr. Bob for his years of dedicated service. His leadership has greatly contributed to the growth of our parish and our school and a donation to the addition would be a fitting tribute to him. Your contributions will also ensure that more of our savings remain available for future infrastructure needs. Pick up a pledge form in Stingle Hall after Mass or call the parish office to make a gift.

This Weekend! Join us for a Eucharistic Procession following the 10am Mass; and lunch afterwards!
Just so you are all aware, we are monitoring the weather on Sunday morning for the procession. The HIGH that day is anticipated to be in the upper 90s. So, we will take the following precautions:
- The route will be shortened. We will process from Church up Andrew street to Main Street, take a left on the sidewalk and then another left to process down Green Bay Rd. to St. Mark's for our ONLY stop.
- Water will be available at the beginning of the route and we will pull a wagon with water in it with us.
- Anyone who feels that it is too hot to walk is welcome to stay and wait inside Stingle Hall or Church.
We will continue to monitor the weather and may make last minute changes the morning of the procession. Thank you!

This weekend, join us for the ending of the Eucharistic Consecration! We will pray the consecration prayer at Mass this weekend.

We are also looking for volunteers to help teach classes this coming year. Stop by or call the Faith Formation Office to learn how you could help as a teacher, teacher's aide, or small group leader!
Closing Prayer
For this week, I wanted to continue with a series of prayers I started awhile back, asking some of our other staff members for a prayer; that way y'all don't always need to listen to me. This weekend, I have from Tim Laurin, our Wonderful Music Director. For the feast day this Sunday, he wanted to share a prayer with Mary under the title Mother of the Eucharist. I think it is very fitting title, reminding us that the Eucharist is not a 'what', but a 'who'; Jesus himself truly present with us. These prayer cards can also be found on the front desk in the parish office!
Dear Jesus,
Help us to spread your fragrance everywhere we go. Flood our souls with your spirit and life. Penetrate and possess our whole being, so utterly, that our lives may only be a radiance of yours. Shine through us, and be so in us, that every soul we come in contact with may feel your presence in our soul. Let them look up and see no longer us, but Jesus! Stay with us, and then we shall begin to shine as you shine; so to shine as to be a light to others; the light, O Jesus will be all from you, none from it will be ours; it will be you, shining on others through us.
Let us praise you in the way you love best by shining on those around us. Let us preach you without preaching, not by words but by our example, by catching force, not by the sympathetic influence of what we do, the evident fullness of the love our hearts bear to you.
