We have great things going on this summer, and I am excited to share with you all today! This weekend, we have our Farewell to Father Bob, next weekend, we would love you all to join us for Catholic Day at the Ballpark, and the weekend after, we will have our welcome party for Father Brian!
Please join us in thanking Father Bob for an amazing time leading St. Gabriel as our pastor. We have been blessed to have him with us, and we wish him the best as he moves on to his new parish. Please pray for him in this time of transition; as he will officially move on July 1st (this Tuesday).

St Gabriel School Addition – Rooms to Grow!
Last weekend Fr. Bob, our school principal, and members of the finance council shared wonderful news with us! Our school enrollment has grown from 160 students three years ago to 240 students for the 2025-2026 school year and we have a very
generous anonymous donor who is going to donate 1.5 million dollars to build a 4 classroom addition to our school! What an amazing gift!

The total cost of the addition is expected to be about 1.9 million dollars and thanks to that incredibly generous gift we are well on our way! The parish does have savings from recent estate gifts and grants to cover the remaining $400,000, however, we’ve been holding these funds for future parish infrastructure needs such as updating the fire alarm system and eventually replacing the boiler. Please prayerfully consider making a financial gift towards this project. Your financial gift is an opportunity to thank Fr. Bob for his years of dedicated service. His leadership has greatly contributed to the growth of our parish and our school and a donation to the addition would be a fitting tribute to him. Your contributions will also ensure that more of our savings remain available for future infrastructure needs. Pick up a pledge form in Stingle Hall after Mass or call the parish office to make a gift.

Closing Prayer
So, as the Youth Minister, I must say i have a BUSY summer. This week, ending today is the Totus Tuus summer camp; hosted by our 5 Neenah-Menasha parishes. We had over 60 kids participating this week at Day Camp; or the High School evening program. But today, I would like to ask you to pray for the 2 dozen youth heading to the Steubenville Conference in Illinois. We are going to have an amazing weekend of growing in faith, learning, and building a community.
Today is the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, and we are called to remember the great love that Jesus holds for us, and calls us through our lives. This weekend, we have our final in a series of 5 Sundays I have been writing about, where we will not have a 'normal' celebration of a Sunday, but a special feast day! The Solemnity of Saints Peter and Paul, the two great apostles and martyrs who led the Church from the very beginning. Peter, the first Pope, Paul, the great missionary and writer of so many books of the New Testament. Their willingness to follow Christ is beautiful; and for our closing prayer today, I wanted to pray for all those who wish to follow Christ, by using the prayer that the aforementioned Totus Tuus summer program team prayed with our students every day.
Almighty God,
You have given me the gift of life, and the gift of your Holy Spirit. For these incredible gifts, I thank you. Help me to use them well.
Deepen within me a desire to do your will. Help me to hear and answer your call to serve you. Guide me to the vocation you have chosen for me, as a loving spouse and parent in the Sacrament of Marriage, as a single person living a life of generous service, or through a special call to serve you in Religious Life or the Priesthood.
May your Holy Spirit keep me always close to your son Jesus, and help me to say yes to Him with the gift of my life.
Amen.
