Happy Friday to you all, and a very warm welcome to Father Brian! Father started as our new pastor this past Tuesday, and will have his first Sunday Masses with us this weekend! Join us next week for his welcome parties! More information can be found below.
We do have fun stuff coming up before those parties, though! This Sunday is our Catholic Day at the Ballpark -- Pick up your tickets today! Next weekend, in addition to Father's welcome parties is our Eucharistic Procession through the Fox Valley.

Eucharistic Pilgrimage of Hope
For our Jubilee year, we are co-hosting a Eucharistic Pilgrimage through the Fox Valley. Join along the route at any point, as you are available; or come join the pilgrimage as it passes through St. Gabriel! At about 10:30 next Saturday; the procession will come through and bless the school; followed by adoration time in the Church!
Join us next weekend after all of the Masses to meet our new priest, Father Brian! In addition to Coffee and Donuts at 8 & 10AM, we will have snacks at 4:30 & 5:00 Masses.
St Gabriel School Addition – Rooms to Grow!
Recently Fr. Bob, our school principal, and members of the finance council shared wonderful news with us! Our school enrollment has grown from 160 students three years ago to 240 students for the 2025-2026 school year and we have a very
generous anonymous donor who is going to donate 1.5 million dollars to build a 4 classroom addition to our school! What an amazing gift!

The total cost of the addition is expected to be about 1.9 million dollars and thanks to that incredibly generous gift we are well on our way! The parish does have savings from recent estate gifts and grants to cover the remaining $400,000, however, we’ve been holding these funds for future parish infrastructure needs such as updating the fire alarm system and eventually replacing the boiler. Please prayerfully consider making a financial gift towards this project. Your financial gift is an opportunity to thank Fr. Bob for his years of dedicated service. His leadership has greatly contributed to the growth of our parish and our school and a donation to the addition would be a fitting tribute to him. Your contributions will also ensure that more of our savings remain available for future infrastructure needs. Pick up a pledge form in Stingle Hall after Mass or call the parish office to make a gift.

We are also looking for volunteers to help teach classes this coming year. Stop by or call the Faith Formation Office to learn how you could help as a teacher, teacher's aide, or small group leader!
Young Adult Happenings:
Join the Young Adult group for Adoration at St. Bernadette in Appleton, next Thursday at 7pm. Or com earlier for adoration leading up to a procession at 6:30.

This weekend, we return to Green Sundays! As we get back into Ordinary (or, as a priest I know would say, 'Ordinal') Time; the counted Sundays of the Liturgical Year. "Apart from those seasons having their own distinct character, thirty three or thirty four weeks remain in the yearly cycle that do not celebrate a particular element of the mystery of Christ. Rather, these weeks are devoted to the mystery of Christ in its entirety." However, today is different. The Church has allowed American parishes to celebrate the 4th of July with a special Mass, asking for peace, justice, and truth. This is where we will find our closing prayer today.
Father of all nations and ages,
we recall the day when our country
claimed its place among the family of nations;
for what has been achieved we give you thanks,
for the work that still remains we ask for your help,
and as you have called us from many peoples to be one nation,
grant that, under your providence,
our country may share your blessings
with all peoples of the earth.
Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
God, forever and ever.
